What this site collects

Browsing and searching the marketplace does not require an account. When you submit an appointment request or a clinician application, we collect the information you type into the form — name, contact details, coverage information, and any message you include — and send it to TalkDoc Inc.'s secure backend so the relevant care or credentialing team can respond.

How it's used

  • Appointment requests are shared only with the clinician's care team you selected, so they can contact you and verify coverage.
  • Clinician applications are used only by TalkDoc's credentialing team to evaluate and set up your listing.
  • We never sell your information.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics limited to page paths and generic interaction events (for example, that a search was run in a given state). We do not send names, contact details, symptoms, member IDs, screener scores, or anything that identifies you to analytics providers.

Bot protection

Forms on this site are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms of service.

Healthcare services

The telemedicine services made available through TalkDoc are provided by licensed clinicians practicing within independently-owned professional entities. Clinical records created in the course of your care are governed by your clinician's notice of privacy practices, not this policy.
