How the money flows
The most important part of the plan is what we don't do: we never stand between you and your revenue.
Payers pay you directly
Insurance payments always go straight to your own bank account. TalkDoc never touches your money — we never receive, hold, or route payer funds.
We do the work
We submit claims, track them, rework denials, run eligibility checks, and keep your AI tools running. You keep full authority over your coding and your payer contracts.
We invoice monthly, in arrears
At month end you get an itemized statement and an invoice for services already performed. No auto-sweep, no deductions from your deposits — you pay an invoice like any other vendor's.

per new patient booking — set in advance, the same for every insurance type
An optional advertising service billed as a simple flat fee per new patient booking — never a percentage. You only pay the fixed amount when a new patient booking completes, and the fee is identical regardless of the patient's coverage.
Does it change how you appear in search? No — marketplace listings, search placement, and ranking are identical for every provider and never depend on paid services.

The fee applies only to claims TalkDoc actually bills for you.
How does cancellation work?
Each service runs under its own agreement and each is independently cancelable, anytime. Because we invoice monthly in arrears, you only ever pay for work already performed — and your free marketplace listing stays live no matter what you cancel.
Who actually does the billing work?
TalkDoc's automation submits and tracks claims, and TalkDoc billing specialists rework denials by hand. You keep full authority over coding: claims go out only under rules you approve, and any code change during rework requires your explicit approval.
Is my marketplace listing or ranking affected if I don't sign up?
No — marketplace listings, search placement, and ranking are identical for every provider and never depend on paid services. Our fees pay for services — never for referrals.
How is my patients' data handled? Is there a BAA?
Every Provider Success service operates under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. Billing and coordination data is held separately as BA data, is never used by marketplace search or ranking, and is never sold or used for advertising.
